ITINERARY

Day One - September 7th: Depart Toronto on your overnight flight to Munich. Dinner and breakfast will be served onboard.

Day Two - September 8th: Upon your arrival into Munich, you will be met by your local tour manager and coach. En route to your hotel you will enjoy a panorama tour of this beautiful city. After check-in, the rest of the afternoon will be free for rest and relaxation. Early evening we will enjoy dinner at a local Bavarian restaurant and the opportunity to get to know your traveling companions. Overnight - Munich (D)

Day Three - September 9th: This morning after breakfast you will depart on a half day city tour of Munich. This modern metropolis on the banks of the river Isar, is a dream city come true. Often called the (most northern city in Italy( for the stunning baroque architecture of the 18th and 19th Centuries, Munich’s palaces, royal avenues, theatres and churches make it one of the most characterful cities in Germany. This afternoon is at leisure to further explore this city on your own. Overnight - Munich (B)

Day Four - September 10th: This morning you will board your coach and begin your journey to Oberammergau. Upon arrival, you will check into your hotel before enjoying brunch at a local restaurant. You will then transfer to the theatre for the first half of the Passion Play. Dinner will be served in the evening before the second half of the play begins. After the performance, you will be transferred back to your hotel. Overnight - Oberammergau (B,L,D)

Day Five - September 11th: This morning after breakfast you bid farewell to the town of Oberammergau and begin your journey to Salzburg. En route you will have the opportunity to visit Linderholf Castle and the Convent of Ettal. Upon your arrival into Salzburg, you will check into your hotel before departing for dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight - Salzburg (B,L,D)

Day Six - September 12th: Today begins with a half day tour of Salzburg - The Stage of the World. Salzburg’s Old Town with its world famous baroque architecture is one of the best preserved city centres north of the Alps, and was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997. This afternoon will be at leisure so you can further explore this cities historic centre on your own. Overnight - Salzburg (B)

Day Seven - September 13th: This morning you will begin your journey to Vienna. En route you will enjoy the picturesque scenery of the Danube Valley - the most important wine-growing area of Austria. Before lunch you will have the opportunity to visit the famous Abbey of Melk. Founded in 1089, it is one of the worlds most famous monastic sites. After lunch you will continue to Vienna with a stop en route in Durnstein, where it is said that King Lion Heart was imprisoned. After check-in at our Vienna hotel you will be transferred to dinner at a local Viennese restaurant with music and ambience. Overnight - Vienna (B,L,D)

Day Eight - September 14th: Today will be dedicated to exploring this historic and magnificent city. Voted as one of the worlds most livable cities, Vienna has found a way of regaining the vibrancy of its former Imperial glory but with a 21st century twist. You will have the opportunity of exploring Schonbrunn Castle, former summer residence of the Habsburg monarchy and one of the most important cultural monuments in Austria. Overnight - Vienna (B)

Day Nine - September 15th: Today is yours to shop or to visit the MuseumsQuartier (Museum Quarter ) which unites baroque buildings, new architecture, cultural institutions, various disciplines of art, and recreational facilities in a single spectacular location. OR take an optional day excursion to the Vienna Woods or the Burgenland. Overnight - Vienna (B)

Day Ten - September 16th: This morning after breakfast you will begin your journey to Budapest. En route you will be stopping at the beautiful Artisan village of Szentendre, at Visegrad with an imposing fortress and famous Basilica. Lunch will be taken as a group in town before continuing your journey to Budapest. Upon arrival you will check into your hotel before your transfer to a local Hungarian Csarda Restaurant. Overnight - Budapest (B,L,D)

Day Eleven - September 17th: After breakfast you will begin your half day city tour of Budapest, known as the “Pearl of the Danube”. You will have the opportunity to visit the cities most notable landmarks such as Andrassy Avenue, Heroes Square and Fisherman’s Bastion. This afternoon is at leisure for exploring the city on your own or to shop. Overnight - Budapest (B)

Day Twelve - September 18th: This morning a farewell to Budapest as you begin your journey to Prague. En route, you will make a stop in Bratislava, the capitol of Slovakia. You will have the opportunity for a leisurely walking tour and a café lunch before continuing onto Prague. Upon your arrival, time for check-in and dinner at your hotel. Overnight - Prague (B,L,D)

Day Thirteen - September 19th: Today - a full day tour of Prague, a city that will leave you enchanted and captivated. Considered one of the most beautiful cities in Europe with preserved examples of all periods of its history. Exploring the Old Town, Charles Bridge and Prague Castles will be just some of the highlights of your day. Overnight – Prague (B)

Day Fourteen - September 20th: Free day to explore, relax or do as you please. This evening you will be transferred to a traditional Czech restaurant for your farewell dinner and the opportunity to say a "see you later" to your new found friends. Overnight - Prague (B,D)

Day Fifteen - September 21st: This morning you will transfer to Prague airport for your flight back to Canada. Meal service onboard. (B)
